Nahar Al Mutawah
Chief Operations and Services

As the Chief Operations and Services at Qatar Cool, Nahar is responsible for the operations of the four cooling plants. He brings more than 20 years of experience to Qatar Cool. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering technology-driven controls and operational services and solutions.  Nahar is responsible for overseeing the correct procedures, people and system requirements are in place and implemented to ensure efficiency within the plants.

Prior to joining Qatar Cool Nahar worked with Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation, in diverse positions. Nahar has an excelled career in challenges of devising winning strategies, in business, with a sole aim of driving excellence & growth.

Nahar is a member of the International District Energy Association (IDEA) and APICS. Over Nahar’s tenure at Qatar Cool he has successfully led the implementation of an ERP system, enhancing power supply to the Pearl Qatar cooling plant and most recently started operations of Qatar Cool’s first LEED certified cooling plant in West bay.

Nahar holds a BE in electrical and electronic engineering, a Master degree from Qatar University and is currently pursuing an APICS (International supply chain management).
