Qatar Cool signs an agreement with Qatar Rail project
Qatar District Cooling Company (Qatar Cool) the leading district cooling provider in Qatar enters into an agreement with Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail), suppliers of one of the largest infrastructure developments in the Middle East.

The Qatar Rail Program will create an integrated transportation network consisting of a metro system across Doha, a long-distance passenger and freight system, and a light rail transit system in the Lusail area of Qatar. Construction of the light rail transit system has already begun. Work under phase one of the project will include the design and construction of all four rail lines, as well as an underground section; the entire project is scheduled to be complete by 2019.
The integrated railway system is expected to be recognized as one of the safest and most environmentally friendly transportation networks in the world. The decision to implement district cooling in several of the stations, spanning from Legtaifiya station to Al Bidda station.
