Who We Are

Qatar Cool, also known as Qatar District Cooling Company, is a private sector joint venture company owned 51% by United Development Company (UDC), 44% by the UAE-based National District Cooling Company (Tabreed) and 5% by other private Qatari investors.

Qatar Cool aims to provide efficient district cooling services through the supply of chilled water via an underground network of insulated piping for air conditioning purposes. Qatar Cool strives to be more environmentally aware and energy efficient by allowing a substantial reduction in energy consumption as well as carbon dioxide emissions.
